DME Reuse Works!

The Stavros Center for Independent Living has been running a durable medical equipment (DME) reuse program for several years. Partially funded with MassMATCH AT grant funds it accepts donations of gently used equipment, refurbishes it and gives to individuals with a need for the device.

In July 2013 they gave away;

5 power chairs

10 manual wheelchairs

2 “hospital” beds

2 shower chairs

They also received donated equipment:

7 manual wheelchairs

8 power wheelchairs

3 “hospital” beds

For information about donating equipment or if you are in need of equipment contact Tom Filiault at 413 256 0473 or tfiliault@stavros.org. There are other reuse programs around the state. For information about those contact reuse@massmatch.org
