Vote to Create a Sustainable Wheelchair Recycling Center in Massachusetts!

David Heim, a.k.a. Marlborough’s own “Wheelchair Recycler,” is competing for a $250,0000 grant from the Pepsi Refresh Project. The grant would fund a Sustainable Wheelchair Recycling Center to be used as a model for opening additional centers. Voting for the project has started and continues for 31 days. Heim, himself a power wheelchair user, refurbishes and custom-builds affordable power chairs for those in need. He is asking our community to vote at the contest website. You can also vote via text message by sending 104847 to 73774.
